Is there a cancellation policy?

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. In the absence of 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full cost of your treatment, unless we are able to fill your appointment with another client, in which case, you will not be charged. If you are needing to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. The more time we have, the more chance we have of filling your appointment. If it is after hours, an email as well as a phone call increases the chance that we will get your message and have time to refill the appointment.

Important: For illness and during the COVID 19 pandemic, we are waving cancellations fees for illness and clients experiencing COVID symptoms. If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing any symptoms, we kindly ask that you call in and reschedule your appointment. If you are returning from travel, please adhere to the governments required 14 day self quarantine and reschedule your appointment to at least 14 days from your return. Again, we will happily reschedule these appointments at no charge.

Treatment services and how much is covered by insurance companies vary depending on your individual policy. Clients should refer to their plan policy for detailed information. We are not able to access this information for you. Please note that clients are responsible for any portion of fees not covered by insurance.  Insurance Companies can NOT be billed for a short notice cancellation or NO SHOW visit.

Do you offer Direct Billing? Which companies?

Yes, we offer direct billing to most insurance companies. See our direct billing tab for a complete list.

Is Massage Therapy, Acupuncture and Chiropractic included in all health benefits plans?

Most major health insurance policies include some coverage for these services. If you are not sure if it is included in your plan, contact your provider to find out.

ICBC Coverage – Do you have coverage?

Regardless of who is at fault, most people qualify for ICBC coverage after a car accident. ICBC Registered Massage Therapy, Chiropractic and Acupuncture treatments are included in their medical benefits package. Click here for more info from ICBC or call our reception team for further assistance.

ICBC - Had an accident and not yet contacted ICBC?

It is recommended that you contact ICBC as soon as possible after an accident.

Click here to go to ICBC’s report a claim page.

ICBC – Do I need a Doctors Note?

It is recommended that you see your doctor immediately after any Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), before getting any other treatment.

Even though you should see your doctor before getting any treatment for a MVA, you don’t need a doctor’s note to get insurance coverage for treatment, although it is a good thing to have on file.

Even without a doctor’s note, you can generally still begin treatment.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Be sure to bring along any insurance information for direct billing. If you feel you will need water, we recommend bringing along a water bottle. We are unable to provide water at this time due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

What should I wear to my appointments?

We recommend comfortable clothing.

What do I wear to my RMT appointment?

This varies from person to person. Some clients prefer to partially disrobe, others will prefer to fully disrobe. Either is okay. Areas not being treated will be draped with sheets in order to maintain modesty during your treatment session. Your comfort is of utmost importance.

Tell me about your RMT Treatment tables.

Our RMT treatment rooms are equipped with electronic tables that conveniently move up and down to accommodate all clients, including those with mobility issues. The tables also have fully adjustable head rest components to allow for customizable positioning for head, neck, and shoulder work, along with adjustable arm rests for added comfort for our clients. Our tables are also outfitted with heated warmers with variable temperatures.
